Five years ago, I went to this city. I came
here to visit one of my relatives. I traveled by air. It was the first time for
me to fly. I was so anxious and worried. There were many preparations to do. My
parents told me not to leave anything behind and took only the necessaries.
At first, I booked the ticket by phone at a
traveling agency. It was more expensive than I thought. Then the following day,
I went to the airport. When I got there, I showed my ticket to the guard
entrance and he let me in. I put my luggage at the metal detector. It was
passed. I tried to find the check in counter immediately.
At the entrance of the lobby, there was a
locket. I should pay the airport tax here. Then the customer service gave me
the boarding pass. I took it right away. I arrived at the second metal
detector, I also passed. I was glad. For about thirty minutes I sat in the
waiting room.
After that I hear the last call to board. I
walked to the gate. But what happened then? When the officer asked for my
boarding pass, I could not show it. I search it on my pocket and wallet. The
sweating fell over my face. I became so nervous.
Suddenly a stranger showed a piece of paper.
It was my boarding pass. He said that I dropped it in the waiting room.” Thanks
God,” I said. I took it and gave it to the guard and ready to walk to the plane
when I realized that I forgot to say thank you to him. Oh what a mass!
