HOW TO LOVE OUR NATION

Good
morning and peace be upon you all.
Honorable judges. Respectable master
of ceremony and My
beloved audiences.
First of all, let us devote
our thanks to God who has given us time, chance and opportunity so we can attend this nice competition. Ladies and gentlemen. On
this occasion, I would like to deliver my speech about how to love our nation. Indonesia is our homeland where
our parents, our brothers and sisters
are born. Indonesia is also a place where we live and have a community.
Therefore, it is fitting that we love our homeland, Indonesia. The love of the homeland is an act or attitude
that is willing to sacrifice for the homeland and protect it from all kinds of
disturbances and threats that can refill the
sustainability of our homeland. Moreover, the
love of the homeland is a sense of pride, ownership, respect, and loyality that every
human being lives in. This sense is reflected in the behavior of every citizen
in the form of defending the homeland and protecting the homeland, willing to
sacrifice for the sake of the nation and state, loving the customs or culture
that exists by preserving them and also protecting the environment. The love of the homeland arises from within the hearts
of citizens who encourage them to serve, defend, maintain, and protect their
homeland from all threats and disturbances both from inside and outside.
This feeling of love for the
homeland makes us an independent nation like today. Our heroes have a
tremendous love for their homeland, Indonesian. That feeling prompted them to fight to
liberate this land from the grip of the invaders or colonialism. The
heroes dare to sacrifice their entire soul and body to defend the Indonesian homeland.
Ladies and Gentlemen, as good citizens of
Indonesia, we should also have a strong sense of love for this country. We do
not need to take up arms like what the warriors have done to show this love, but
by behaving the reflects of that love in everyday life. Here are some ways to show our love to this nation.
Firstly, participate
in all citizenship activities, such as participating in every elections, obeying regulations, doing all our responsibilities,
and so on. We are as a student can participate by
studying seriuosly, obeying all school regulations, and obeying our parents and
teachers. Secondly, knowing the history of our nation. The history of this
nation can be good lessons for us. It was a mirror of our strong nation in getting independence.
It can encourage us to love our
nation. Next, safe our nation and state by maintaining the unity among Indonesian citizens. When we are united, our
nation will become a strong nation. Like our motto “Bhineke Tunggal Ika”. Unity in Deversity.
Then, always use domestic products to advance the
economy of our homeland. And finally, as a
student, we must study hard and diligently for our future and the future of
this nation.
So, inconclusion, let’s love our nation.
