RECOUNT 1

The Football Match

My brother and I went to a football match yesterday. Our school team was playing against another High School team. Our team wore red and white shirts, white shorts, and red stockings. The other team wore orange and black shirts, orange shorts, and black stockings. “They look like bees“, my brother said, and we laughed.

They played like bees too. They ran very fast, attacked very hard, and passed the ball to each other very fast. Soon they scored their first goal. My brother and I shouted and shouted,

“Come on, Valley School! Come on, the Valleys!” Our headmaster was near us and he was shouting too. He seemed very enthusiastic. However, the high school scored another goal. We were very sad.

Then, one of the “bees” stopped the ball with one of his hands, so our team got the free kick. Our captain took it and scored a goal. We shouted, “Hooray!” The score was now 2:1. That was better. Now our team began to play better—or the “bees” were getting tired. Our team scored another goal before half-time. In the second half of the match, both teams tried very hard, but neither scored, so at the end the score was still two all.

MY UNFORTUNATES

Last weekend was my luckiest day ever. Many good things were coming toward me.    When the morning broke in Sunday morning, I woke up and planned to jog around the neighborhood. So I changed my clothes and went to the bathroom to wash my sleepy face. As I stepped in the bathroom, I landed my foot on a soap in the floor and feel down. A perfect morning hi for me. Next, I began my jogging and saw my gorgeous neighbor, jogging too. I though it was a good fortune to omit the gap between us. So I jogged to him and say hello. But, how poor of me, it was not him. It just someone I never met before who looked like to him. I was going home with people laugh at me along side of the street.

When I got home, the breakfast already settled and I immediately spooned a big portion of rice and ate. After I have done my breakfast my mother came up and said that the meal have not ready yet and she said that I may have a stomachache if I ate it. It was proven, I had a stomachache for the next three days.

NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS

Last week I went to my sister’s school to see her performance in a drama. First I looked for the best seat in the school hall. Then I sat and waited patiently for the drama.
 As soon as the drama started, I tried to concentrate on the performance. The drama was good but did not enjoy it. Two children were sitting behind me and they were talking loudly.
 I got very angry because I could not hear the conversations. So, I turned my head and looked at them angrily. They did not pay any attention and kept on talking. Finally, I turned again and said angrily that I coul not hear a word.
 To my surprise they told me that it was none of my business, I thought they did not understand. What I was trying to say was that I could not hear the drama, not their conversation.

RECOUNT 4

AN ACCIDENT

John was driving home from the station in his car yesterday evening when he had an accident.  He was driving along a train road at 50 kilometers an hour when another car came out of a side road and hit him.  There was a lot of damage to both cars, and both John and the other man were hurt.  One of John's arms was broken, and the other man had a bad cut on his head.

Another car was following John's.  It stopped quickly and a man and a woman got out of it.  They ran to the damaged cars and pulled John and the other man out of the cars because they thought, "Perhaps the petrol in these cars will catch fire and burn the two men."

The man and the woman had some cotton-wool and bandages in their car, so they put them around the cuts on John's arm and the other man's head.  Then they made a telephone call to a doctor and the police.  Soon an ambulance arrived and took the two men to hospital.  Then two policemen arrived too and began to measure things.  A truck came and pulled the two cars off the road.

BAD EATING HABIT

A week ago, I got very sick because of my bad eating habit. During holiday, I played video game from afternoon until the sun set. After spending hours and hours playing video game, my stomach ached and my heart was pounding. I remember I did not any food from morning. I tried to eat. I felt the pain was getting worse. Then I told it to my mother. She was so worried about me. She brought me to the doctor.  The doctor said that I was suffering from chronic gastritis. She then gave me some medicines. I drank the medicines twice a day. After several days I got well. Since then I realized playing game was not good because it could make me forgot meal time. Finally I promised to not skip meal time anymore
